New Album!

I'm proud to stand alongside the announcement of Ra Ra Riot's second full length record!!

from Pitchfork Media:

Since releasing 2008's The Rhumb Line, string-savvy Syracuse indie pop crew Ra Ra Riot have ascended to festival mainstay status. And on August 24, they'll release the follow-up to that album, The Orchard, via Barsuk.

The band co-produced the album alongside Andrew Maury and Death Cab for Cutie's Chris Walla mixed nine of its 10 tracks. The other track, "Do You Remember", was mixed by from Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij, RRR frontman Wes Miles' partner in the mutant-R&B side project Discovery. We've got the tracklist to The Orchard below.

The Orchard:

01 The Orchard
02 Boy
03 Too Dramatic
04 Foolish
05 Massachusetts
06 You and I Know
07 Shadowcasting
08 Do You Remember
09 Kansai
10 Keep It Quiet

  1. Hooray! How exciting--I can't wait to hear!

That picture is SO wholesome-mystery-solving-crime-fighting-teen-team. I'm pretty sure they're about fifteen seconds away from handcuffing a jewel thief with a hilarious accent.
