SanFran + Sonoma

The tour continues north! Since LA we drove to San Francisco where we played the Great American Music Hall. Fantastic sounding venue and a sold out, wild crowd. I've never see people go so nuts during "Boy." We also got to meet and hang out with Dave, Andrew, and Joanne of Dave Smith Instruments who are the people behind the Prophet '08 synthesizer which Ra Ra Riot uses on tour. We stayed at The Phoenix hotel (where we always do in SF) with our buddies/tourmates in GIVERS and essentially laughed ourselves to sleep. They are the best.

Last night we played a "boutique" show (as I'd call it) at a WINERY. The family and friends who run Gundlach Bundschu Winery hosted us in their beautiful home for the night, and played an old barn/workshed. A mature crowd of wine enthusiasts apparently know how to do a rock show.
